Riri Hearts Fall Mac Collection Haul -First Impression

I had been following this Mac collection since the first lipstick was released at the beginning of the year. I looked forward to this one the most because of the cute rose gold packaging.

The day finally arrived but because of the confusion with the release dates, I wasn't completely prepared to make a trip to the mall. I found my myself squeezing a trip to the Mac store in between work appointments. By the time I made it, most of the collection was sold out but I still managed to get a lot of the items on my wish list.

I was the most excited about the bronzer duo and the brushes because of how beautiful they look. I've heard many mixed reviews on the quality of the products themselves. Personally, I like them and I will be keeping them in my purse for touchups. I admit that they look nicer than they feel, I thought they would be much heavier but they do feel very light and plasticky. Again, this will make them perfect for traveling.

I was able to pick up the beautiful Riri Woo, it was the only lipstick left. I already have this color in the original black packaging but I honestly think this is the perfect matte red for my complexion so I though it wouldn't hurt to have a second one. Plus it's so pretty :). I really wanted to get Talk the Talk lipstick but it was completely sold out, I didn't even get to swatch it because the display was also taken down :(

Good news is, if you missed it this time around, it will be available online on the 30th of this month and on the 3rd of November at every other Mac counter.

Over all I am happy with  my purchase and can't wait to get my hands on Talk the Talk lipstick and possibly riri woo lipgloss.

xo Liz ♥

Are you guys picking anything up from this collection?
