I have a specific print in mind and I am currently waiting to see if it's available, I have to wait until monday and the anticipation is killing me! I posted a sneak peek on my Instagram.
Wallpaper is pretty permanent and unlike paint, it can't be patched up to hide old nail holes once they've been made so I really wanted to take my time and make sure I had all the pieces of furniture in their permanent spots.
PBTeen has a really neat application where you can design your room, it allows you to be accurate from the size of the room down to the size of the furniture. So this is what my design looks like.
I'm getting rid of the old Malm and replacing that with a PeekABoo Console table from CB2. This will allow for an additional workspace while giving the illusion of an open room. Oh and since my chair has wheels on it, I can roll on over to that side of the room so no extra chair is needed :D but I will probably find some furry stools to place underneath it just for kicks.
You can see in the first photo that I have already started putting together the little lounge corner, the only thing missing is Nala taking a nap but thats because she was too busy trying to figure out why I was moving everything around.
Check out some of my past posts on this room to find out where everything is from:

Your set up is seriously perfect. I love it so much!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's been a nice little corner to read too :D
Deletecan you please tell me where that mirror in the first picture is from? i need it!
DeleteI love your lay out. Thank you for sharing the PBTeen Application. I have always been a great fan of putting a desk in the middle of the room. I don't know what it is, but the room appears less "officey" if that makes any sense, especially when you add cute accessories. Can't wait to see the wall paper. I am sure you will pick something really glamorous!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! It's all about how you feel when you walk into the room and having the desk in the center facing the entry door makes it feel more welcoming and gets my creativity flowing :D
DeleteYour visions are so on point! I'd love for you to design for me someday, love!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm not an expert but I would totally love to lol :D
