Last week I went to Target for one item and of course...I never walk out with just one item from Target. I spotted these adorable Salt and Pepper shaker wall art on an end cap. I wasn't sure where I was going to put them but I thought they were the most adorable S&P things I'd ever seen so I couldn't leave them behind.
I think I found a perfect place for them. I always wished there was a window above the stove instead of a boring wall to stare at. I think this is a nice alternative :)
*Tea Kettle is from Home Goods
Since I'm showing you my stove, I figured, What the heck...I'll just show ya my whole counter since I know it's the kind of stuff that I'm also interested in.
To right of the stove I keep my super awesome real life S&P Shakers along with this cute bowl (from Target) filled with fresh fruit. I also like to keep snacks in apothecary jars because otherwise they get buried in my pantry and no one eats them. Waisting food is one of my biggest pet peeves.
Had to give you guys a close up of these AMAZING S&P Shakers. We received them as wedding gifts and I love them so much. They are electric so when you flip them upside down they automatically grind and dispense the S&P into your dish. They are exclusive to William Sonoma.
Oh, and that other silver thingy is an Olive Oil Sprayer from Ross.
To the left of the stove I just keep my knifes and whatever cookbook I feel like having on display for the time being and of course my cute oven mittens (from Ross). I kind of want some different colored ones now that I have the wall art up, maybe black ones.
I couldn't forget about my little piggy friends! They keep me company through all my cooking adventures. They are both from Bed Bath and Beyond.
Overall, I like to keep my counters clutter free. Believe it or not, cooking is one of my favorite things to do so I like to keep the counters accessible.
Hope this gives you some ideas for your own kitchen.
