Too Faced Bonjour Soleil Bronzer Palette Review and Swatches

As many of you know, I'm sure, Ulta recently had  a  20% off coupon that could be applied to most prestige brands so naturally I had to make an innocent pit stop. You know, just to browse…

OK, maybe not so innocent, if you watched my most recent haul video you know (video is at the end of this post).

Now that Summer is quickly approaching I find myself digging out my long forgotten bronzers and highlighters. I've got to say that I am happy to be incorporating dewy, bronzy, glowy looks to my everyday routine.  So when I came face to face with the new Bonjour Soleil Palette by Too Faced, I squealed a little inside.

It comes with:

1 Matte Bronzer - "Chocolate Soleil"
1 Shimmer Bronzer - "Sun Bunny"
1 Luminous Bronzer (which I use as a highlighter) - "Snow Bunny"
1 Kabuki Brush

If you use different brushes you could get a total of 7 different shades out of this palette :)

The texture is nice and buttery and I find it is very easy to blend. My only complaint is how loose the powder becomes in the pan when you swirl your brush in it. Not only can it get messy, but I feel like I'm wasting a lot of product each time I use it. I'm thinking this might be an effect of the fact that they use real cocoa powder in the formula.

The packaging is really cute and I like that it's metal, this makes it travel friendly and durable.  I'm trying to be better about not being such a sucker for cute packaging, but It's really difficult… especially when it comes to Too Faced. Thank goodness the quality of their products is amazing, or I'd be in big trouble.

The Kabuki brush it comes with is pretty functional and I like it for the highlight specifically

I had always been curious about Too Faced Bronzers but never got around to picking one up. I feel this  is a great way to try them all for a fraction of what it would cost to purchase them individually. Each bronzer normally retails for $30.

You get 3 different bronzers in this palette for $44.

Personally, I know this is going to come in handy when I travel or take trips to visit my mom since I will be able to condense my individual bronzers and highlighters into one palette.

You can find this palette at Sephora Ulta and on the Too Faced Website

What do you guys think of this new palette?

  3. Makes me want to go buy it! I need something that's all-in-one like that! I meant to tag you on Instagram for you to go visit my Facebook page to see my last photography album. The young lady Yolanda reminds me of you.) She's gorgeous (she's only 13 so I didn't do heavy makeup on her) and her skintone looks phenomenal with the lighting. Go check it out...I really think you'll enjoy it. www.Facebook.com/ReneeBruchPhotography Great post and video Liz!!!
